This is June's sister "Sally Rodgers", a.k.a. "Sassy"!

They are 11 week old toy poodle puppies! 

Peanut Island FL and Kennedy's Bunker!

We took a ferry over to peanut island!

The U.S. Coast Guard used to have a base on this island as well! 

Here's a little history on this floating compass. It used to be floating in alcohol...but when the Coast Guard men got thirsty it had nothing to float in! So they started floating it in oil instead! Funny, right?

We traveled down to Florida to see a dear friend of ours get married! The wedding was beautiful and very fun!!

Spring!

Now that spring is fully here, we are enjoying the beautiful weather! These beautiful eggs are right outside our house, and we are awaiting the baby birds arrival! 

Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebration with our family from Missouri! 

Our Aunt and Cousin made this adorable Easter Lamb cake!

We finished our day with a trip to the lake for some fishing!

Veterans Day

As I walked through Arlington Cemetery last fall I remember thinking that for every gravestone I saw, there was a man or a woman who fought for my freedoms, and that was a powerful feeling!
