We are enjoying Tennesse! We have done 5 shows in the past 6 days, we just finished our last one this afternoon!
Our family went hiking on a nearby trail, this was interesting... As we began our hike, we met another family that had just finished the loop, and said it took took them about an hour, so we figured we were fine, we can walk for an hour. After an hour of hiking up and down the mountain, we came to the swinging bridge. The map at the beginning of the trail showed the swinging bridge was the half way point. We crossed the swinging bridge, one at a time, then proceeded on. The only problem was it was 7:00 pm at this point, and the trail on the other side went two different directions. We had been following the blue markers, but now there were red markers going both ways. After much deliberation and the realization that our cell phones didn't work (four cell phones, but no reception), we decided to turn back. Once we were all back over the bridge, we couldn't find the blue markers that would lead us back home. So we decided to just follow the red markers on the other side of the bridge, since it would have to lead somewhere. So once again, the entire family walked, one at a time, across the bridge. After the scouts (Alyssa and Jenny) went about 20 feet down the red trail, it turned into a 12 inch ledge with a drop off on one side and the mountain side on the other. So we went back across the bridge for the fourth time, and this time found the blue trail. (The small bridge had been wiped out by rocks before we got there, so we had to travel further than the trial and jump from rock to rock to cross the creek) The entire walk back was filled with the stories of lost hikers you hear about on the news. We arrived back at our apartment at 9:00 or so. Mom has declared that we are never hiking there again.
Stay tuned for more adventures from TN!

PS - Did I mention the Copperhead that Brian and Emily stepped over, then realized it was there?
PPS - I will add pictures as soon as we get home and I can get them off my camera!
